Once the channel has been created, you can do some customisation and configuration of your channel using the buttons below.
Click the Plus Icon: To create a new temporary channel, simply click on the plus (+) icon.
This action will automatically create a channel named after you, such as "[Your Name] Channel".
Click the Chat Logo: In the top right corner of your channel, you'll find a chat logo. Click on this logo to access the channel management options.
Alternatively, if your channel already exists, you can configure it under #channel-config. This section allows you to manage your channel with the same options detailed below.
Edit Channel: Click this button to change your channel name to anything you like.
Open/Close Channel: Initially, your channel will be open. To close it, click this button, preventing users from joining. Click it again to reopen the channel.
Invite with Link:
Generate an invite link by clicking this button. Copy the link and send it to friends you want to invite to your channel.
Kick User: Remove a user from your channel by clicking this button. Note that kicked users can rejoin unless blocked.
Block User: Permanently prevent a specific user from rejoining your channel by clicking this button. The user remains blocked until the channel is deleted. If you create a new channel, you will need to block them again.
Unblock User: If you accidentally block someone, click this button to allow them back into your channel.
Claim Ownership: If the current channel owner is inactive, you can click this button to take over ownership and manage the channel.
Transfer Ownership: The current owner can transfer their ownership to another user by clicking this button.
By following these steps, you can easily create, manage, and customize your temporary channel to suit your needs. Enjoy seamless and flexible channel management with these features!
